Komera empowers young women in Rwanda through education, health, leadership development, and community support. Through content development and digital storytelling, I helped communicate the organization's mission and elevate the voices of the young women it serves.
challenge
Komera needed to elevate its storytelling across digital channels while showcasing the experiences and leadership of young women and girls in Rwanda. The organization also needed stronger alignment between its social media, website content, annual reporting, and fundraising communications.
strategy
I led content development across social media, email marketing, website content, digital campaigns, and major communications assets. Working closely with program staff and leadership, I translated field stories and organizational impact into compelling content that reflected Komera's mission and values.
outcome
Created integrated storytelling campaigns that strengthened consistency across channels, elevated participant voices, supported donor communications, and reinforced Komera's position as a leader in girls' education, health, and community development.
